Russian, European space agencies want to build permanent moon bases



New details have emerged regarding the joint mission between the European Space Agency (ESA) and Russian’s Federal Space Agency (Roscosmo) to return humans to the surface of the moon

The mission, called Luna 27, will focus on visiting an unexplored region of the moon’s south pole, the South Pole-Aitken

Although the first Luna 27 missions will be robotic, the goal is to eventually bring humans back to the moon situated in permanent moon bases
